The architect’s dream

The architect’s dream

Half a century ago, I walked up these stairs and memorized them. Then I designed and built, traveled and photographed, but those stairs remained in my dreams. I recently came back to share what I learned and understood. During this time, everything has changed, and now technology allows you to reproduce these dreams on a plane.

The translation of volume into a plane is a metaphysical process that hides some properties of reality and reveals others, showing what is invisible to ordinary vision and raising what is embedded in the subconscious. You're walking down the street, you're here and far away, suddenly you see - it's a photo! It was in my head and it took shape in reality, requiring fixation and response.

The exhibition, the press, and the viewer with his background give photography new meanings and meanings, it is full of references and associations, metaphors and allegories.

Photography, existing in a context, becomes a process, the process turns out to be the result, reality turns into a dream.
